The State of Montana is implementing a new eProcurement system titled “Montana Acquisition and Contracting System” or “eMACS.”
The Department of Administration signed an enterprise-wide contract with SciQuest, Inc. to provide the State with efficient procurement and contract management tools. SciQuest, a leader in public sector procurement and contract management solutions, will provide the State with procurement solutions that include vendor management services. These system capabilities will further modernize the State’s bid and purchasing processes. eMACS implementation is scheduled for Summer 2015.
For State of Montana vendors this new eProcurement system means:
• Re-registering company information using the new vendor management application,
• Submitting bid responses on-line, and
• Submitting contracting documents (including payment info) via the new system upon request.
Vendor Informational Meeting
Montana Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC), in conjunction with the Department of Administration, State Procurement Bureau, will be providing an informational meeting intended to introduce vendors to eMACS and answer questions in the following cities:
